Short Film - Plastic War

After the collapse of the UN, humanity reorganizes under a Central Planetary Government (CPG) with a radical goal: to save the planet at any cost. The accumulation of polluting plastics has pushed entire ecosystems to the brink of collapse, turning waste into a global threat comparable to a weapon of mass destruction.

The CPG’s extreme decisions trigger World War III, pitting nations, corporations, and citizens who depend on plastic for survival against each other. Amid the conflict, special teams are created with an apparently impossible mission: to eradicate polluting plastics from the planet before it is too late.

The short film offers a critical reflection on consumption, collective responsibility, and the ethical limits of power when Earth’s survival is at stake. Presented at the CINEDFEST Educational Film Festival (7th Edition), it invites viewers to question whether the real enemy is plastic… or our decisions as a society.
